MERRY CHRISTMAS

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Daddy's been too lazy to decorate for Christmas, but the other night he decorated real nice. The snow looks so real.

It started snowing hard on Thursday and it took Mommy and Daddy 2 hours to drive from work to pick me up at daycare. Then it took us another 2 hours to get home across town.

It's good weather for napping under a cozy blanket.

My slide is covered in snow. Daddy took this picture from inside. You can see the reflection of the camera in the upper right of the window.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and I can't wait.

Halloween Picture

Although Daddy's camera was out of commission on Halloween night, Sam's Mom took some photos of us. Here I am in my fireman's outfit. Sam was also a firefighter. Madison and Caden were cute fish. We had fun, and Daddy tells me we got some really good candy.

Ghosts and Jack-o-lanterns

Halloween was really fun this year. Check out my videos. In one I'm playing with my inflatable jack-o- lantern. In the other I'm practicing my ghost sighting techniques. There are no pictures of me in my firefighter costume because I went trick-or-treating over at my friend Sam's house, and Daddy didn't bring extra batteries for the camera (and of course the batteries died).

My New Table

My Grammy got me a great new table as an early Christmas present. Mommy wrapped it in a blanket and I found it first thing in the morning (good practice for Christmas Day).

It was hidden under the blanket, but I sniffed it out. I started my examination of the table, with a test of the sturdiness of the chairs. Here I am turning one over.

It passed the sitting test too. Nice and comfortable.

It's just the right level for doing my sound puzzle.

And it's got drawers for storing my stuff. Thanks Grammy - I love it (and you too).

Friday with Daddy

Daddy and I hung out together all day. We went for a hike at Foster's Pond and then we went to the park.

Here I am at Bessie's Point enjoying a beautiful Fall day.

I can go down the slide all by myself now. Check out my video.

Happy Birthday Papa

We celebrated Papa's 80th birthday this weekend. My aunties, uncles and cousins all came over and we had a great time. Happy Birthday Papa.

Down East

Grammy and Grampy came out East to visit. Aside from doing all kinds of projects around the house, we all took a trip Down East. That is we headed North to Acadia National Park (I guess it's 'down east' to someone).

This is the view of Bar Harbor from the summit of Cadillac Mountain.

Here I am strolling along Sand Beach.

Buddy Walk 2007

Will's Team was out in full force, as we walked around Lake Quannapowitt to support the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress. There were over 1200 walkers. Check out some of our photos below.

There were even dogs decked out in Buddy Walk tee shirts

It wasn't too sunny, but I still needed to borrow Daddy's hat for the stroll around the lake.

It's time to do the Buddy Walk

Part of Will's Team from Buddy Walk 2006.

It's time again for the Buddy Walk. This Sunday, October 7, I'll be walking around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield to help raise awareness for Down syndrome, and help support my cousin Will and his team.

The Buddy Walk began 12 years ago to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and to celebrate National Down Syndrome Awareness Month (October). This will be the 3rd year that Will's Team will be participating.

The local Buddy Walk is organized by the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress. The MDSC mission is "to enhance on a continuous basis the lives of individuals with Down syndrome through the education and support of people with Down syndrome, their families, their friends, their teachers, and the community as a whole." The MDSC has been a big help to my cousin Will and his family.

The Buddy Walk raises public awareness about Down syndrome and it is also MDSC's biggest fundraiser. If you would like to learn more or make a donation, you can visit my personal Buddy Walk page by clicking

Here I am at last year's Walk in my frog hat. Technically I was at Buddy Walk 2005 also, but I was in my Mommy's tummy.

Apple Picking

The weather feels like summer, but the calendar says it's apple picking time. My buddy, John, and I took our parents to Parlee Farm in Tyngsboro on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Check out the photos.

Pumpkins everywhere.

They had goats in trees, chickens, and sheep. Here's my buddy John with a goat on the ground. Cute kids.

We went on a hay ride through the apple orchards.

Apple tasting. Umm...Umm...Good

I got two eyes ... and they're both the same size

Check out my baby blues. You can even see the whites. But they weren't all white the other day. I got conjuctivitis. I'm on antibiotics now and they're all cleared up.

Happy Grandparents' Day

Grandparents' Day is a special day to honor those wonderful people who love me, care for me, and spoil me rotten. I love you Grammy and Grandpy, Papa, and Grammy Great. Happy Grandparents' Day!!!!

Grandparents' Day began when a lady by the name of Marian McQuade got the state of West Virginia to celebrate Grandparents' Day in 1973. In 1978, the fellas in Washington passed a bill declaring the first Sunday after Labor Day "National Grandparents' Day". One of the most under appreciated presidents, Jimmy Carter, signed it into law.

Here I am working on my Grandparents' Day card. I didn't eat any crayons, but I threw a few.

And here is a photo tribute to those special people in my life:

Happy Grandparents' Day Grammy.

Happy Grandparents' Day Grampy.
